BBI Suffers Another Blow As Former Majority Leader Vows To Shoot it Down in Parliament

According to former Majority leader Aden Duale, the fate of BBI is over and any attempt to try and bring it to parliament via a back door will be met by stiff resistance from the leader and other Ruto allied politicians. This coming only days after the ruling at the court of appeal discontinued the push for the document.

Duale has revealed that the document was termed unconstitutional and any attempt to bring a null and void document in the house will not be entertained. He claims that the constitution is clear on matters of constitutional amendments and the due process should be followed by the leaders.

Several leaders allied to Uhuru and Raila are seeking to have some clauses of the document adopted through parliament before the next general election. They say this will play a key role in ensuring that the nation has a credible election.
