An identified person has written a letter to the Interior Minister CS Fred Matiangi applying for the position of the outgoing Rift Valley regional commissioner George Natembeya. In the letter, John (not his real name) says that he has been applying for the job over the years but unsuccessfully hired because of the reason that the position had not been rendered vacant.

In his application he attached copies of his CV, academic credentials and Natembeya's resignation letter telling Matiangi that this time he has caught him red handed since the position is vacant.
George Natembeya on Wednesday January 12, he resigned from his position to concentrate on politics. He has announced that he will be vying for the Trans Nzoia gubernatorial race in the upcoming general elections in August. This led to a man applying for his out going seat and Kenyans have applauded him saying that he should be given the job.
