Details Emerge Of The Content Of A Memo From Ministry Of Interior Enforcing These Changes

President Uhuru Kenyatta's has made powerful changes as August polls now draw closer. In a memo dated March 15 to Regional Commissioners, six county Commissioners have been reshuffled and have been ordered to immediately.

Kibicho also made changes to eight deputy county commissioners.

The County Commissioners moved include, Esther Maina (Central), Mohamed Ahmed Maalim to Rift Valley and their Nyanza counterpart Magu Mutindika.

Jim Njoka goes to Siaya, Muhumed Barre to Nyeri, Wilson Wanyanga to Kajiado county, Joshua Nkanatha to Kiambu County, Abdulla Hiddi (OOP Headquarters and Moses Ivuto (Kirinyaga) among other changes.

 The officials are key in running government affairs in the regions, counties and sub-counties and the changes will be to enhance operations in the areas ahead of the August general elections, officials familiar with the changes said.

This comes as polls are heating with less than four months to August 9th.
