Just In, Senators Reprimand Keter And Munyes

It has been about two weeks since the hike of power and fuel prices hit the country. Many Kenyans have been affected severely with the decision that was made by the stakeholders responsible.

However, Kenyans cries have been addressed by senators at the Senate. The senators summoned the ones responsible for Ministry of Energy.

Mr. Charles Keter, the minister of Energy and his counterpart John Munyes have been summoned by the Senate due to their contribution to the rapid rise of fuel and electric power prices.

The legislatures blame the ministers for neglecting their summons and not responding to them in time.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Murkomen declared ,"We have an economy that is being run like a jua kali. How can you explain that a cabinet has never had a meeting for eight months. What kind of a country is that?"

"Why is the President so silent? The President should come out so loudly to save the Kenyans," Bomet County Senator, Christopher Langat stated
