DP: Ruto is prepared to take on Raila Odinga, who just declared his presidential ambitions in front of thousands of supporters in Kasarani, following years of campaigning. Given their status as significant personalities, one of them has come close to being confirmed as Kenya's fifth president. Raila finally disclosed his ambitions for a second term after being elected president.
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair has stated that he intends to imprison Ruto for a year because he "deserves it."
According to Raila, Ruto's charges are a case of graft. Raila accuses Ruto of embezzling state money through SACCO synergies.
Raila believes that couplings are stealing this cash, which would have helped Kenyans had it not been taken.
