Speaking through his official Twitter account, the outspoken Ruto's Ally has claimed that the BBI document has stripped Francis Atwoli of his powers including the Normination of representatives to the Salary and Remuneration Commission. According to Hon Cheruiyot, the BBI bill has proposed that COTU, which is an independent body, shall no longer Nominate 7 members to represent the body in the Salary and Remuneration Commission, however, the nomination shall be done by the president.
