Politics is all about permanent interests, and those interest is to remain in power and that's why they say there is no permanent enemies or permanent friends in political arena. Deputy President William Ruto is on Nyeri County continuing with his campaigns drumming his presidential candidature ahead of next year election.

Deputy President William Ruto who is eying to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta has already made inroads to vote - rich region, he has been hunting votes in the region since 2017, and now he's leading the pack in terms of popularity. Though he has great support, some leaders from the region are not supporting his candidature.

Nyeri County Governor Muthai Kaiga and Kieni Constituency lawmaker Kanini Kega are among the leaders who are not supporting Dp Ruto as successor of the impeding election. On Sunday 5th December 2021, both Governor Kahiga and Kanini Kega shared the same Bible Verse in Mathew 12:36-37. The verse is warning people for the carelessness in utterances of words.

The Bible Verse in Mathew 12 : 36 - 37 quotes

" I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak. For by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned."

Kanini Kega had raised a concern earlier that Dp Ruto and his allies attack him while they were hosting their campaigns in Nyeri County. In my views the Bible Verse actually was targeting to respond warning Ruto and his allies.
