Outgoing Commandant Bungei
Nairobi region will be headed by a new regional commissioner after the cabinet secretary in charge of interior coordination made a move that has left many Kenyans questioning the motive of recent reshuffles that has befallen all the eight region commissioners who served during the reign of former president Uhuru kenyatta.

In Today's reshuffle the new regional commandant for Nairobi will be Katie Mwanza who has been named by the cabinet secretary as the new regional leader who will oversee the safety of the capital following recent increased cases of criminal activity and the rise of criminal gangs.
He now replaces Bungei who was also recently mentioned by the new inspector-general of police japheth Koome after being transferred from baringo where he was among the many individuals who were redeployed.
The new changes taking effect immediately with the eight who were serving in the side regions now redeployed back to interior coordination headquarters
