The general election is coming close and we need to be ready for it. Leaders are running to every corner to look for people to support them. It has come as a shocker as Marsabit Governor, Mohammud Ali, denounced Deputy President William Ruto during a tour of his county for campaigns.
This began on Wednesday, July 6, when the Ruto claimed that Mohammud was undecided on which presidential candidate to support between him and Minister Raila Odinga .He urged that he had noticed the Marsabit governor secretly supported him and his heart was fully in Azimio la Umoja.
The governor, is seeking to defend his seat under the Azimio la Umoja umbrella, told off the DP noting that his allegiance to Raila was solid.Mohammud said ,"I have declared publicly that this community of Marsabit will support Azimio and elect Raila Amollo Odinga. Ruto was my friend and I was with him before but I have seen he cannot succeed. This county needs development from the national government but we cannot continue supporting him for now."
The governor is facing stiff competition from Mr Francis Chachu Ganya (Kanu), Mr Bernard Sunya Orre (ANC), Mr Kello Harsama (UDA) and Mr Pius Yattani Wario (UPIA).
