Homabay county governor Hon Gladys Wanga's fate hangs in the balance after scrutiny and recount of votes is concluded in the Kidero's petition against her win as the petition entered into homestretch on Monday.
According to the reliable source, the court has paved way for Justice Roselyne Aburili to prepare her judgement which she has until March 7th. At the same time in the petition the former Nairobi governor accused Hon Gladys Wanga for interfering with his campaigns thus preventing him from delivering his agenda to the people.
He also added that the former prime minister Raila Odinga was also involved in the coercing of people to vote for his party candidates only a move that Gladys Wanga denied saying that her party leader had all the rights to campaign for her. However, it has been revealed that during the recounting agents experienced difficulties locating some ballot boxes as Kidero's lawyer alleged that the attached boxes had fallen off. Justice Roselyn is set to mention the fate of the case on January 10.
