Azimio embarked on a zoning plan and had already dropped Bahati from the Mathare MP race in favor of the ODM candidate. This has however not gone well with the Jubilee man. He jas remained adamant that he is still in the race. One other county that is set for the Azimio axing is Kajiado. This is because Kajiado is a swing vote county and having two Azimio candidates is likely to give the UDA man an upper hand.
In the opinion polls conducted and released by Mizani Africa today, UDA candidate Katoo Ole Metito is likely to garner more votes if elections were held today. He is popular at 37.8% Incumbent and ODM candidate Ole Lenku comes second with 34.0% Not sucha a big difference. Jubilee's David Nkedianye is third with 27.5% This seems to be a tough race between the three candidates. However Azimio will be more assured of victory if they drop either of the candidates.
The biggest question is who? Nkedianye or Lenku? Considering both of them have held that office before?
