Political leaders are busy selling their ideologies to the Kenyans. They are promising numerous things they will do if elected as leaders in 2022 general election. Unfortunately, most promises are not fulfilled once they ascend to power. Ruto is targeting Mt Kenya region. To him, Mt Kenya electorates are clucial and significant in determining the next government of Kenya. The deputy president William Ruto has gained popularity across the region and beyond. This has given his opponents sleepless nights.
According to political analysts, DP Ruto is loved by Central Kenya people not because the role he played in 2013 and 2017 but because what he is offering them. They said that Ruto is capitalizing the challenges facing Kenyans moreso youths to sell his candidature. He is behaving like a Messiah who will rescue them from economic problems.
However, some political analysts argue that Ruto is being loved because of what he gives out in most political meetings he host. It is believed that he gives money and other handouts to all people who accept to attend his meetings. This strategy attracts more electorates across the country.
