Suba South member of parliament and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party chairman John Mbadi is one of the politicians who drumming support for Building Bridges Initiative (BBI). However, recently, the fire of BBI is slowly going down even though those is support claim that BBI is still on.
However, speaking live on Citizen TV this evening, Mbadi revealed that the main hurdle that BBI is facing now is the judiciary. This is because of the cases that were taken to court about some issues in the document.
Mbadi reiterated that currently they do not have any disagreement about BBI, that once it passes it will be taken to the president who will forward it to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC).
However, on the other hand, senator Kipchumba Murkomen said that he believes that the judiciary will act out independently. But for them, they do not have BBI as a priority for now, they are busy working for the nation.
