This comes just days after Homabay county governor Gladys Wanga signed a charter that elevated Kendubay, Ndhiwa, Mbita, and Oyugis to municipalities. The three joined Homabay town which had been the only Municipality in the county.
With this Ruto's mega project, the towns will definitely realize rapid growth as they will now attract more investors and dwellers.
Apart from the launch of the affordable housing project the president is also expected to launch many other projects including the commissioning of Homabay Municipal market which its construction was just finished recently.
