Reactions After Alinur Mohamed Said This About President Ruto Taking Lunch In Parliament

On Wednesday, October 5, President William Ruto paid an unexpected visit to the Parliament buildings and joined MPs for lunch.

According to reliable source, it claims that Ruto opted to have lunch in parliament after his motorcade was allegedly caught up in traffic.

Azimio La Umoja ally who is now playing an overnight role in the government, Alinur Mohamed claimed that president Dr William Ruto making surprise visit to the parliament and joining MPs for lunch is due to high cost of living.

Taking on his verified Facebook official page, Alinur claimed that the high cost of living has forced President William Ruto to go and eat free food in Parliament. His remarks have elicit some reactions among Kenyans online.

His impromptu visit caught many by surprise, including National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and his Senate counterpart Amason Kingi.

It is not yet clear what the president was doing at Parliament as there was no official communication about his visit.

The visit comes just a day after a heated debate in Parliament over which coalition should take over the Majority leadership in the House.
