Mathira Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua who is the Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition presidential running mate, has quickly replied to President Uhuru Kenyatta's attacks on his deputy Dr William Ruto that he has failed to deliver on his promises to Kenyans, and now he has forgotten what he promised and he is giving another promises that he is going to help Kenyans who he sees facing some issues.
Speaking during the Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition campaigns in Chuka Town in Tharaka Nithi County, Gachagua fired back at President Uhuru Kenyatta saying the Head of State has a short memory. Since he is the one who removed Deputy President from his government and given his responsibilities to Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i. How comes now the president is accusing the DP for his government failures.
"Nimesikia Rais akimlaumu Deputy President William Ruto kwamba ameshindwa na kazi. I want to tell you Mr President you have a short memory, because you are the one who removed Deputy President from government and took his duties to Matiang'i and Raila Odinga. How comes now you are blaming William Ruto, when Ruto was there the price of Unga was Sh90 now it is Sh250. We are urging please leave alone William Ruto to face off that Mzee of Kitendawili (Raila) and come and help Kenyans..." He said.
