"We Will Keep Our Manifesto a Secret" Raila Says as he Deconstructs Ruto's Bottom-up Economic Model

Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has said that the party is not in a hurry to unveil its manifesto ahead of the August general elections.

Speaking in Nairobi on Wednesday after meeting leaders from North Eastern, Raila said although the manifest is almost ready, he will be giving different sections of its until the best time when they will unveil it to their supporters.

"Our manifesto is almost ready and we will give it to you in sections so that you can have in put in it, but we will keep it a secret until the strategic time since we do not want people to plagiarize it," he said.

The former Prime Minister wen ahead to launch an attack on Deputy President William Ruto's bottom-up economic model saying that it is just a slogan without any economic basis.

"Other people are now taking about bottom up that is just a slogan without any economic theory," he added.

He affirmed that his government will give set the Social welfare programme that will see unemployed youths get a stipend of Sh6,000 arguing that he knows where he will get the money to fund the kitty.
