Former Kiambu County Governor Hounerable William Kabogo has opened up after Martha Karua was Appointed region spokesperson ahead of 2022 general election. While speaking today, he has said that the Unity of Mount Kenya region is for the benefit of the region and future generation. He has gone ahead to claim that with time, they are going to move from one county to another within Central region with an aim of mobilizing them to have a common target.
Some of other leaders who attended the meeting today in Naivasha maintained that, it is time for the region to get it's rightful share come 2022. They said that, with more people from mount Kenya making the highest percentage of Voters in Kenya. They're entitled to more Appointment and other benefit from national government. They indirectly declined to break their parties in order to Join United Democratic Allience as directed by Deputy president William Ruto.

Ruto has been on record asking leaders to drop their parties Infavour of UDA Party ahead of 2022 general election. He has been asking them to make the party strong so that when they form the government, they can deliver their mandate without fear or favour.
