Vocal legislator has come out to take credit on the revival of Mumias Sugar Company (MSC). This is after photo of Mumias Sugar packets on a supermarket went viral thus leaving Kenyans exited since this is a sure indicator that the sleeping giant has finally awaken

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has come out to take credit for the revival of Mumias. This is despite the debate on whether this company is in Mumias East Constituency or Mumias West Constituency which hosts a large part of the milling company. According to Salasya, he is the person who has singlehandedly pushed for the revival of Mumias
If that is not enough, the first time MP has revealed that he is currently pushing a motion in Parliament to bar any institution which is not a miller not to brand Sugar even in supermarkets. This is before he termed former Agriculture CS Peter Munya as the worst CS on Sugar matters
