Embakasi East member of parliament, Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has Allegedly penned down one among many Solutions to politicians who are suffering and struggling to get degrees. Independent electoral and boundaries commission gave an order that all elective Positions should be contested by people who are degree holders.
From the move, Babu Owino has hilariously told the politicians under question to purchase one degree from the many he holds. He has six diploma certificates and four degree certificates. From the four degrees he offers solution.
"MP Babu Owino asks politicians affected by the IEBC degree requirements to buy one from him."I’m asking anyone without a degree certificate to buy 1 of my many Degrees. I have 6 Diplomas and 4 Degree certificates at an affordable price.." pulse live kenya is quoted.
The bill has not been fully debated into law and therefore it's upto the legislature to weigh at it. Chances are our members of parliament are likely to let the bill down because if it passes some of their colleagues will be affected.
