There are a few days remaining for the country to hold general elections with candidates vying for different seats intensifying their campaigns day and night.
Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party and Kenya Kwanza Alliance have held several rallies in the country compared to other parties that have presidential candidates.
According to Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi, Busia County has been voting overwhelmingly for Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader Raila Odinga since time immemorial.
However, he said that other counties in the western region will vote for United Democratic Alliance UDA presidential candidate Deputy President William Ruto, which includes Kakamega, Bungoma, and Vihiga among others.
He further said that the team led by Amani National Congress ANC party leader Mudavadi and his counterpart from FORD Kenya Moses Wetangula will divert Busia votes very soon.
“Busia County is historically Hon Raila's political fortress & remains loyal. But with the breathtaking conquest & capture of Kakamega, Bungoma, Vihiga and Trans Nzoia by the Kenya Kwanza alliance led by General Mudavadi and General Wetangula...Busia is RIPE for a blitz and conquest,” he tweeted.
