"No Way" Quick Reactions Over Rigathi Gachagua Proposal That Cash Bail Be Replaced by Title Deeds

Kenyans are subjected to mixed political reactions over Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua proposal that cash bail be replaced by title deeds and Car log books.

Speaking in Kilifi County today, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said there is need for Judiciary system to consider replacing Title deeds with cash bail in criminal matters.

To him, there is alot of cash lying in the judiciary instead of being used to run the economy through circulation. There he ask the Judiciary to consider the request so that they can free the economy.

"When people have found themselves in court in criminal matters, and they place cash bail because of the urgency of the matter, there exists an opportunity for you to go back to the court and substitute it with Title deeds or log books so that we can free the money to the economy," DP Rigathi Gachagua stated.

The remarks have subjected Kenyans to mixed reactions. Some agree, others opposes while a section also question the motive behind it.
