Narok county senator Ledama Olekina has revealed the identity of the expected new Chief justice in kenya following the interviews that will take the better part of this week and next week ending on 23rd April.
According to him,Fred Ngatia who is among personalities shortlisted for the interviews to select the chief justice,will be the new judiciary boss.He furthers advises the government to avoid wasting time on the same saying they already know the one to be given the position.
"Stop wasting time with Chief Justice Interviews we already know who you are giving the position. Wacheni formalities! my Friend Fred buy new suites or I get you some Maasai Suites and you start your tenure,"he wrote.
This comes after the interviews for the next Kenyan chief justice kicked off on Monday 12 with the first candidate justice Said Juma Chitembwe taking to the floor.He was among the 10 people considered for the position after other three were dropped.
The remaining nine are Prof. Patricia Mbote; Lady Justice Martha Koome; Justice Marete Njagi; Philip Murgor; Justice Matthews Nduma; Lawyer Fredrick Ngatia; Justice William Ouko (Court of Appeal President), Dr. Wekesa Moni and Ms. Alice Yano.
