William Kabogo Joins Raila Campaign Team in Kiambu, Tells Raila The Secret of Winning Mt Kenya Votes

ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga remained in Central Kenya after attending Mashujaa Day celebrations in Kirinyaga County on Wednesday. The former Prime Minister is currently looking for Mt Kenya region support ahead of the upcoming 2022 polls.

On Thursday, the veteran politician took his campaign in Uhuru Kenyatta backyard Kiambu County. He was accompanied by several Mt Kenya leaders including the former Kiambu governor William Kabogo.

While addressing residents in Kiambu town, the ODM leaders urged them to come out in large numbers and register themselves as voters. He said that is the only way they will secure their future. He also urged them to support his presidential election 2022 bid.

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo also addressed residents saying he is in full support of the Raila Presidency because he once helped him when he was in need. He told Raila Odinga that he can scoop the Mt Kenya votes in large numbers as long as he convinces voters in a good way by addressing their problems and he should not follow the footpath of what happened in Machakos sometimes back.

Kabogo who also launched his Tujibebe Wakenya Party recently said his party will not join other political parties in coalitions. urged Raila to tell President Uhuru Kenyatta not to tax Kenyans for the rest of the year. He said by doing this Kenyans will be cushioned from tough economic conditions brought by Covid 19.
