Yesterday he was in Kakamega where he addressed the Luhya people on how his "Bottom Up Economy Model" will change the lives of many people if he is to be elected as the 5th president in 2022. However, some videos went viral with some youths not pleased with his politics, hence they burned his UDA t-shirts and stopping Boniface Khalwale from addressing them.
However, today's tour to Busia may not come easy for Dp Ruto since this region is deemed to be former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga political stronghold. Therefore, the youths may not be ready to hear his bottom up politics from which they believe it is just a lie and a vehicle to fulfill his presidential ambitions in 2022.
Dp Ruto has been using this rallies to dismantle his political opponents, as he did in Kakamega, especially when he attacked OKA principals, from whom Mudavadi and Wetangula are members. This would be one of the reason why Ruto has been blocked in Busia.
Furthermore, this is the kind of politics Kenyans should Refrain from and allow every individual to move in whichever region he wants to go. We witnessed how Raila Odinga was heckled in Embu, but this is not politics we want, let us embrace, unity, peace and love for every single Kenyan.
As the 2022 General election is approaching, only two horses are seen to be the most preferred to clinch the top seat, that's Raila Odinga and Dp William Ruto. Ruto is preaching the idea of bottom up Economy while Raila Odinga is preaching Azimio la Umoja. Let us choose which is the right way for us to go. God bless you abundantly.
