Laikipia County Gubernatorial race will be one to watch as several top leaders including the current Governor Hon Ndiritu Muriithi, former Governor Joshua Irungu, women representatives Cate Waruguru and others have shown interest in this top seat.
Mizani Kenya conducted an opinion poll in which several Kenyans participated in to select who they feel will be the favourite to be elected as the next Governor of Laikipia County.
The results showed that current Governor Ndiritu Muriithi will scope the seat again as he got 43.2 per cent of votes, women rep Cate Waruguru came in second with 22.7 per cent votes, former Governor Joshua Irungu got 19.1 per cent, and the others fell in the remaining slots with less than 10 per cent votes.
