Late Sitati Makhandia, he has been eulogized as a great leader, source files.
Daniel Sitati Makhandia has been the MCA of Khasoko ward since 2017.
He passed on at Kisumu level five hospital where he has been receiving treatment of a notorious illness.
Sitati has been an educationist and a visionary leader who has represented his people without fear and prejudice.
Other leaders who got the news have eulogized Sitati and described him as a rear species of leader.
"His contribution to development in Bungoma county is incomparable," said Khalaba MCA Majimbo Okumu.
Similar messages have been send by Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati, Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa and Bungoma county Majority leader Joseph Nyongesa.
His demise comes just a month after another county government official died while giving birth.
