Insider Leaks Details of State House Meeting That Decided Uhuru Should Stop Campaigning For Raila

It is now evident that President Uhuru Kenyatta will not be campaigning for Raila Odinga, this is according to reports from a reliable source.

The source reveals that the decision was made by State House after a high profile meeting.

The plan for the President not to campaign for Raila was arrived as a way of avoiding project tag that DP Ruto and his allies, had branded Raila.

Karua would head the region's campaigns in the future, having been tasked with promoting their ticket in the vote-rich region.

Further reports reveals that the President will only make spontaneous trips in the region while inspecting or launching Jubilee projects.

"He (Uhuru) is free to continue telling Kenyans to vote for Raila anytime he inspects the numerous projects he's completed," the source said.

In this regard, the source noted that plans are already in place for the President to launch the completed projects on Mount Kenya.

Possible beginning areas have been identified as the Sh13 billion Thiba Dam and the Kenol-Marua dual road.
