Pandora Paper: LSK President Nelson Havi Publicly Come in Defence of Uhuru

President Uhuru Kenyatta in the past days has been a talk in Kenyan space after International Consortium of Investigative Journalist (I CIJ) released a report of people operating offshore accounts.

In the report, President Uhuru Kenyatta and family were allegedly having assets in foreign land worth Sh. 3.3billion.

On Wednesday, October 6 while speaking at TV 47, the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi, publicly came in defence of Uhuru Kenyatta.

“On the Pandora Papers, President Uhuru was rich before he became president. If he acquired his property legally, then that's his property. Let us not be propagandists,” he said.

Havi’s statement hit headlines hours after also, after former Prime minister Hon. Raila Odinga said one can choose to engage in foreign business if is at capacity to explain how he or she earned the money.

As this was published, this Writer has is fully aware the president promised to speak about the ‘Pandora paper’ immediately he jets in to the country.
