In an effort to strengthen Raila's support base and commission numerous projects, President Uhuru Kenyatta has started a three-day tour of Nyanza and the Western Region. After arriving in Kisumu, it is anticipated that the head of state would make stops in several different cities.
In an effort to encourage Kenyans to turn out in big numbers and cast their votes, he will also meet with local and regional leaders. Uhuru addressed a sizable throng in Miwani that had been patiently waiting for him since the morning before formally opening the recently renovated Kisumu Railway Line. After he supported Raila's candidacy, the crowd went global.
The future of this nation must be in safe hands, and Uhuru has urged the people of Mount Kenya to reconsider their choices and exercise wise judgment. In his opinion, Raila and Karua are the best candidates to carry on from where he left off.
While in Kiambu, the Azimio Brigade made one last appeal to potential supporters of their bid.
