Another Mt Kenya MP Ditches Jubilee, Joins UDA After DP Ruto's Nyeri Visit

Deputy president William Ruto's visit to Nyeri county has made him reap big in the latest party defection. The DP who announced that he will be camping Nyeri of the Mt Kenya region for three consecutive days has won big after the Tetu constituency member of Parliament James Gichuhi Mwangi officially ditched the Jubilee party and joined the United Democratic Alliance party UDA.

The deputy president has spent a lot of money and time in the region trying to woo the leaders and electorate to join his camp.

Reports of James Gichuhi Mwangi ditching jubilee party and joining UDA have been shared online by the Tangatanga self proclaimed spokesman Dennis Itumbi.

In another report, the Nyeri county governor Mutahi Kahiga has also left the ruling Jubilee party and joined DP's UDA. Kahiga welcomed the DP in today's ceremony where they donated money to the church and for other small scale owners.

DP Ruto will conclude his official visit to the region tomorrow.
