Bungoma County Governor Kenneth Lusaka was on Monday, 21st November 2022, elected to a top leadership position.
Governor Lusaka was on Monday elected the Vice Chair of the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB).
He was elected to the position during the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) summit held at Ciala Resort in Kisumu County.
Speaking after his election, Lusaka extended his gratitude to his fellow Governors in the bloc for entrusting him with the leadership role.
Further, he revealed that his Kisumu County counterpart, Peter Anyang' Nyong'o was also elected the Chairman of the bloc during the summit, taking over from Former Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
"Grateful to my colleagues governors in the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) summit for entrusting me with the position of vice chair.Kisumu governor Prof.Anyang Nyong'o is the new Chair of the block and takes over from former Kakamega governor Wyclife Oparanya," Governor Kenneth Lusaka said.
