Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential candidate Deputy president Dr William Ruto's director of communication Emmanuel Talam has come out to correctly reveal that the handover of power from president Uhuru Kenyatta to the outgoing president shall be smooth.
Talam's statement which comes few hours after head of public service Joseph Kinyua made similar sentiments in a press conference in Nairobi accurately paint the picture of a willing government when it comes to orderly transmission. He suggested that the call/decision has been taken by the government according to law.
Talam suggested that the influential people who call the shots in the government have already approved plans for smooth handover to whoever will take over from Uhuru (Ruto, Raila, Wajackoyah or Mwaure).
"And the call came. No one will dispute the election outcome. The handover will be smooth. We are a great country!," Talam wrote on social media.
According to head of public service Joseph Kinyua who is the boss of the assumption of office committee, the president elect who will be announced by IEBC in the next few days will receive all the necessary support as required by law.
