“Unaona Hii Balaa Tuko Nayo Hapa” DP Ruto Says After What He Asked Kajiado Crowd to Do

Deputy President William Ruto took his vote-hunting mission to Kajiado County as he revealed what he plans to do if he wins the presidential election.

Ruto during his address at a roadside rally asked the crowd if they have been listed in the Credit Reference Bureaus (CRB) because of loans.

He said this is after President Uhuru Kenyatta recently revealed that more than 14 million Kenyans are blacklisted for defaulting on loans.

The DP was surprised after asking the Kajiado people in the rally to raise their hands if they have been blacklisted because of loans.

“Uhuru said 14 million Kenyans have been blacklisted in the CRB. If I ask the people who have been blacklisted to lift their hands in this meeting you will see almost half of the people lifting their hands,” said Ruto as more than half of the crowd raised their hands up.

DP Ruto in reaction after seeing the number of people who raised their hands said, “Unaona hii balaa tuko nayo hapa. How can we make businesses go forward when people are in the CRB?”

Ruto said if he wins come next year he plans to set aside Sh50 billion that will be used to assist the small scale traders and give them loans without any interest.
