Winnie Odinga's Dream Of Getting Married At State Houses Fails To Come True

Winnie Odinga, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's daughter's dream of a wedding at the lawns of State House could possibly fail to come to pas following yesterday's announcement by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati. Late last year Winnie told Kenyans that she would tie the knot at State House in case her father becomes the president.

During a meeting with the youths, Winnie Odinga stated that her wedding would happen in the lawns of State House. However, the 31 year old's dream might have been hit hard after Wafula Chebukati announced Raila Odinga's political arch-rival William Ruto as the winner in the just concluded general elections.

Raila Odinga came second despite a narrow margin between the two potential candidates with the IEBC chairman declaring Ruto as the new president elect of Kenya. Even so, there has been a mixed reactions on the results that were announced by Wafula Chebukati with Odinga's side lamenting on the credibility of the process.
