
As the outbreak continues to spread across the globe, there are increasing questions being raised about the measures or more accurately, the lack of measures that each country is taking to protect their population from this deadly.
Due to the virus convid19 in the country on Monday, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said the guidelines will be included in the code of conduct and will be signed by all parties before the start of campaigns. During election day, the following measures will enhance prevention of the exposure to Covid-19.
And this is aimed on the mini polls like Msambweni Mp seat and five wards Kahawa wendani Kisumu North, Dabaso, Wundanyi Mbale and lake view. Were others are scheduled on October 15 and will run up to December 12 this year.
Also on the report they will also ensure that polling stations have Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) they will make arrangements with county governments on standby ambulances at least one ambulance per ward and ensure that a polling station is manned by a queuing clerk.
