Today, the people of Kenya came together as the nation to celebrate one of the remarkable events in the Kenyan history. This was Mashujaa day which is always celebrated on 20th of october every year. Today's event was conducted in Kirinyaga county at Wang'uru international stadium where prominent leaders in the country lead by president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Dr William Ruto attented the event.
Now, the country's second in command, Dr Ruto stole the show during this event. This came in after his unusual statement today which made the whole stadium to cheer on him. As reported by the kenyans.co.ke, Ruto boldly told president Uhuru Kenyatta that he is talking on behalf of the opposition leaders in the country.
This statement by Dr Ruto made the people of Kirinyaga to cheer on him as no one expected him to align himself to the opposition bearing in mind that he is the second most senior person in the Kenya's government. Now, what is your view on this statement by Dr Ruto? Was it right for him to say that he is talking on behalf of the opposition? Drop your view.
