This is a neck to neck race between these two top presidential contenders.

As these provisional presidential results continue to stream in, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati was expected to issue another statement this evening at National Tallying Centre - Bomas of Kenya. But it emerges that the presser was called off.

Commissioner Juliana Cherera has said this was to allow the electoral body to verify Forms 34A that had been uploaded to the public portal. She said that the next briefing will be tomorrow morning.

"So ladies and gentlemen, be patient the next brief will be done tomorrow morning," Cherera said.
