Big Win For Ruto As This Powerful Mount Kenya Leader Ditches His Party For UDA

Over time, the deputy president of the republic of Kenya Dr William Ruto have been going round the country trying to bring more allies comprising of Leaders and the common mwananchi to Join his UDA party. This is one way of his preparations for 2022 presidential race where he is seeking to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta as the head of state. However, his ambitions of getting more followers has not been easy due to the unity between president Uhuru Kenyatta and the ODM boss hon Raila Odinga who happens to be his main competitor.

Now, it seems that DP Ruto's dreams are slowly changing. This comes in as reports now claims that one of the powerful Mount Kenya leaders has ditched TSP party to join UDA party. As reported by the Nation Africa, Hon Karungo Was Thang'wa, the former secretary general for TSP party has joined DP Ruto's UDA party. According to these reports, hon Karungo joined the Hustler nation during one of the church events in kiambu county and this will be a big Win for Ruto and his camp ahead of 2022.

"The DP yesterday welcomed to his United Democratic Alliance (UDA) a senior official who defected from former Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri’s The Service Party (TSP)during a tour of Kiambu County.TSP secretary-general Karungo wa Thang’wa formally joined UDA during a function at AIPCA Gathaithi Church in Githunguri." Said the Nation Africa.
