The United Democratic Alliance party leader William Ruto today has visited the Kamba Community. Speaking during his random stop over at Emali in Kibwezi West Constituency, Makueni County DP Ruto has assured the residents that his main agenda is to boost the economy and to ensure the common mwananchi get to assisted first before attending to the themselves (politicians).
"Tumepanga mambo ya uchumu. Nimeongea na wanasiasa wenzangu vile tutapanga tueke pesa kwa mfuko ya mwananchi. Safari hii kabla hatujabadilisha katiba lazima tubadilishe uchumi kwanza. Safari hii lazima tuanze na mwanachini ndio maana inaitwa bottom up." Stated Ruto as he receives 'kazi ni kazi' chants from the excited crowd.
In his speech, he had added that they don't need tribalism and want to bring people together. His main aim is to create SACCOS to business people so that they avoid taking loans to fund their businesses.
Meanwhile the second in command is expected to tour the Ukambani region for his rigorous campaign ahead of 2022 general elections.
