The political temperature in the country continues to rise up as we are nearing the august general elections.Various leaders are in the campaign mood moving around the country to rally up their supporters to consider them come the august general elections.The presidential race is seen to be a two hoarse race between the deputy president William Ruto and the Orange democratic Movement party leader Raila Amollo Odinga despite other contenders existing.
The vote rich region and the Luyha votes are of the great import to these two leaders.This has seen two luhya leaders Cleophas Malala and his counterpart Edwin Sifuna engaging in the war of words.During one of the rallies Sifuna categorically stated that Malala is a fake Luyha and promised to deal with him.Below is Edwin Sifuna's tweet giving accolades to the famous Luyha 'luwera' song and calling Malala a fake Luyha.
