Former Kieni constituency member of the national assembly Hon Kanini Kega who is currently Kenya's MP elect to the east african legislative assembly (EALA) was one of those in attendance when president William Ruto hosted EALA MPs elect at State House earlier today.
And now, few hours after the EALA MPs visited state house, the Jubilee party director of elections has taken to social media to relish the rare moment with president William Ruto.

Kega who supported Azimio leader Raila Odinga posted a photo together with the head of state and captioned it as follows:
"EALA MP and his excellency the president," he captioned.
Kanini Kega is one of the Jubilee party honchos who are currently seem to be angling towards deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and his meeting with Ruto comes few months after the general election where the two were on different political camps.

Among the leaders who accompanied him are Suleiman Shahbal, Hassan Omar, Kennedy Musyoka, David Sankok among others.
