Odm Party leader Hon Raila Odinga has revealed that Kalejins are behind him despite the fact that it's DP Ruto's Stronghold. Odinga alleges that claims by people that Kalenjins are not with him is just a mare rumour and that he still retain the tittle 'Arap Mibei'This comes comes amid hightening political temperatures in the country over the upcoming general election with Raila Odinga being assumed as the main competitors to DP William Ruto.
The region has been supporting DP Ruto for quite sometimes and it will be a huge task for Raila Odinga to convince the Kalenjins to rally behind him as he says. Just like Mt Kenya the region has a huge number who plays a very crucial role in determining who will win the presidential race in any given period.
The battle for the top seat is very tough between Odinga and DP William Ruto as they are assumed to be the most influential and with the highest possible of winning the presidential seat. It's a matter of time to see Raila's sentiments are true or he was just talking.
