Kenya Kwanza is led by Deputy president William Ruto while Azimio La Umoja is lead by former prime Minister Raila Odinga. Deputy president William picked Mathira member of parliament Rigathi Gachagua as his preferred running mate while Former prime Minister Raila Odinga picked Martha Karua as his running mate.
