Rurii Ward in Nyandarua county went back to the ballot after the untimely demise of the ward representative John Mburu Githinji popularly know as Wamaria passed on.
Wamaira was pronounced dead by the family after several years of battling the deadly cancer disease.

Dp Ruto has been making a huge impact on some of President Kenyatta's strongholds, where many have started showing major support for his presidency.
TangaTanga leaders have however started celebrating and congratulating the UDA candidate in Rurii prematurely even before the official announcement by the IEBC.
