It was all sorts of dramas as the Senate resumed it's sitting after a period of time. What was stated as a special sitting to discuss important matters of the country turned out to be messy as the proceeding was filled with plenty of unwanted actions.
Things turn out ugly as reports reached the House on the arrest of senator Mithika Linturi, something that led to Speaker Ken Lusaka to suspend the proceeding shortly and when the members were bad, the heckling continued to the last minute.
"Parliament cannot debate, let alone pass, something unconstitutional. What the committee is terming unconstitutional is a matter of opinion, not fact. Only the speaker authoritatively declares business, Bill or motion as unconstitutional. @Wetangulam @SenMutula @SakajaJohnson." Tweeted Herman Manyora.
