Senator Ledama Olekina is enraged that President Ruto intends to overthrow and usurp the authority of Parliament. Olekina claims that he is still unsure of what President Ruto is doing in the Parliament today in preparation for the election of the majority and minority leaders.
Kenyan Kwanza, the dominant party in Parliament, has already been acknowledged by William Ruto, the country's president. The Azimio coalition party has expressed disagreement with this stance.
President Ruto's decision to visit Parliament today has in fact proven his desire to have complete control over that body. Let's wait and see if William Ruto will offer the Azimio coalition some breathing room.
