With less than eight months to the general elections. The two leading presidential candidates, Raila and Ruto are yet to unveil who will deputise them ahead of August polls.
There has been allegations that the duo might settle on aspirants from Mt Kenya region due to their numbers .
According to the tommorow Star, Mathira member of parliament Rigathi Gachagua leads the possible running mate, who can deputise the deputy president. He is closely followed by Martha Karua who also comes from Kirinyaga, Central region.
For Raila Odinga, Peter Kenneth leads as the best bet . He is closely followed by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka. However, Musyoka announced last Saturday at his Yatta residence that he won't deputise anybody in August elections.
On the side of Mudavadi,he is yet to decide on whether he will be on the ballot or whether ANC will join UDA.
The opinion polls has attracted reaction from Kenyans who feels dissatisfied with the Star polls. Some feels like the best bet for the running mate have been left out while others says it is only meant to influence voters.
