Linet Chepkorir is over the moon after Facebook verified her page, with only 30,000 followers, Chepkorir said this was no small achievement. She said that the verification will in a big way do away with fair accounts from malicious people who are taking advantage of the newly found fame to garnish her name.
"No more pseudo accounts; My Facebook Page Account is now fully verified! Let’s continue marching on as one," she wrote.
With her story being loved countrywide, many fake accounts were created and used for various reasons by the creators. Many used the pages to ask for the support this is going into the wrong hands.
Many took to her comment section to celebrate with her the big milestone which only a few get. Despite many followers, not everyone is lucky to get the blue mark.
