Independent electoral and boundaries commission is expected to announce the newly elected president of Kenya after completing the verification of the form 34As which were uploaded on IEBC portal versus the original form 34As which were brought by returning officers from constituency level.
IEBC have already verified results from 253 constituencies out of the total 291 constituencies. IEBC seems to be heading to teg completion of teg process after what is being witnessed at Bomas of Kenya. Through the live coverage by NTV at Bomas of Kenya, the verification desks have remained empty this morning unlike other days when the desks have been busy for the past six days.
There is minimal activities at Bomas of Kenya and Kenyans is anticipating that independent electoral and boundaries commission chairman Wafula Chebukati is going to announce the presidential results today. Wafula Chebukati had promised that he is the only person mandated to announce the final results.
